Hello
French breeder, I've just bought a broadmare issued from this stallion.
Can anyone tell me more about him ?
Show results of the stallion or progeny ?
Famous progeny ?
Thanks for your help !

He is the sire of Wortley Celebration, who over the past couple of years has won Hoys Twice and RIHS twice all in different classes.

You're lucky to have a mare by Artiste, what is her name and the rest of her breeding? I thought you may like to see a photo of his son, Royal Welsh Male Champion Wortley Fisher King, mentioned by Roseview. He is 17 now and lives with us in Wales. He too has sired many prizewinners. Artiste's sons and daughters are breeding beautiful ponies.

I do know of a nice young buckskin Artiste mare (13hh) for sale at a very reasonable price. Wish I was still wanting to breed.

You must have bought Blondie from Clanmill on here then? She went through FO sale a couple of years ago. Most famous will be Fisher King, Eyarth Sophia (Sweden) and W. Celebration, I guess. So many of his offspring have been successful that it is hard to select any!!

I would have thought Lemonshill Alarch was his most famous daughter? You can see photos of her on Carrwood studs website. There are just so many wonderful sons and daughters that it is very difficult to answer your question without a long article!

Lemonshill Alarch was Female Champion at the Royal Welsh as a 3 year old. Lemonshill Limelight and Hilight are two excellent stallions by Artiste.
Come on peeps, think of some more!

Artiste was a full brother to many top show winners and breeding animals. Cottrell Aurora RWAS Ch., Cottrell Amethyst, Cottrell Sequence and Cotttrell Ambassador.
His dam, Downland Almond was a beautiful mare and one of the foundation mares at Cottrell Stud
