Hi all We have a cocker spaniel who talks non stop or maybe wittering on is a closer discription ! He doesnt stop the vet just says that dogs are like people some are more talkative than others but sometimes he drives me nuts . Since he was a puppy he has also had a thing about feet (he liked to sleep on feet if you stook still for too long and likes to collect socks but during the last few months he has now picked up a new habit. Both him and my other dogs sleep on the bed and at bedtime he collects sock from around the house !! One Always has to go on my daughters bed the others he takes down stairs and puts in his basket. He doesnt chew them up or touch them during the day but every night he does the same ritual ! If I have tidyed up and there are not any socks (and they have to be dirty ones ) he grizzles for ages. So now I save them so he can do his oes anybody else have mental dogs like mine ? It would be good to know Im not alone in the doggy asylum ;D

Strange rescue saluki likes to roll on his back on my clothes while mouthing them over his head, so to speak. And our cockers have usually talked too, not so much off their own bat but holding conversations with you. The last one always had to have the last word too, getting gradually quieter. Shut up. WOOF. Shut up. Woof. Shut up. woof. Shut up. w.

The reason a dog has so many friends is that he wags his tail instead of his Tongue.

my friends mini daxy has to have a teddy, if he doesnt have it, he is so miserable. Last year at the RI, she forgot to take it and she had to go and guy him another.
One of mine talks non stop too... if I get on the phone he will not shut up... its not unusual..... just teh way they are...

Yep Millie has conversations with you and pokes you with her nose till you get up and follow her to whatever it is she wants. And she is the worlds worst laundry thief, always nicking socks or pants from the washbasket, but she comes and shows you what she has so you'll chase her to get them back - I think the chasing is actually more fun than the pilfering.

Saluki or cocker? The saluki ended up wearing my bra once, I have a photo somewhere and no it's not going up. I can only assume he rolled on my clothes on the floor as usual and inadvertently stuck his head and leg through it. We found him lying on the bed in it.
