Although I believe a navy jacket is correct for an evening performance, until I am feeling flush enough to buy one (having just forked out for a brand new saddle), would I be better to stick to my normal green tweed jacket/tie (M&M) or wear a black jacket/stock if I'm lucky enough to get into an evening performance in the meantime?
Lesser of two evils!
Thanks.

You'd be best of with a navy jacket I'm afraid! But I'm sure you can find a nice second hand one on here, or I'm sure there are some cheaper ones out and about

Ok thanks, looks like I'll have to fit in a quick dash to the tack shop this week.
