Is it just me? Or am I asking too much? I have been looking to buy a new horse for a while now and when advertising, many people don't put prices and photographs! It would save both parties plenty of time if they just put it on the adverts. Not just horsegossip, but it seems to be the same everywhere.

It's annoying, If your looking to buy a car, house, dog it doesn't ever say POA. Most people (including me) do not have bottomless pockets and are on a budget so need to know. You don't want to waste peoples time but if there is no price hwat are you supposed to do?

If 50 people ring up to ask the price and it turns out too expensive that is 50 people who now know the priice so its no longer between purchaser and seller. People will always gossip. Thats human nature.

I can't understand why people selling lorries or horses on here don't put photos on, it's not hard to do. because every time someone posts asking for a price or a picture it bumps the thread back to the top of the list. People deliberately leave out details for that reason.  |

POA can also raise suspicion that the price may change depending on who is ringing up! I always say being transparent is the best way, many people wont ring a POA advert for this reason. Buyers are not stupid, if a pony is genuine and correctly priced it will sell. POA should only be justified if its an animal that several people may want like a HOYS champion as a bidding war may follow.
