Been done to death I know, but I am looking to replace my whitening shampoo, and want to get the best one I can find- my pony is mostly white with a white tail! Which one works best?

Best one I've used (and I've tried them all) is champion tails silver hilights. Trouble is getting hold of it.

Totally agree with you Champion Tails silver hilights (the powder) is outstanding. Oakfield near Preston stock it.

Asda purple washing up liquid, 58p I think, got a feeling it's the lavender one. do a skin test to make sure your pony doesn't react but I'm pretty sure it's a 'suitable for sensitive skin' one, none of mine have had any reaction at all. It's brilliant for greys, I use it on my white grey section A that does his very best to roll in the muddiest place possible if he can and it works wonders on him. takes all the stains out of the coat, legs and tail really well.

Champion Tails silver hilights (the powder) is the stain remover, but can be used as a shampoo. You mix a few spoons full with boiling water this then turns into a shampoo. Brilliant for stable stains and really gets tails white. The Champion Tails range is outstanding I think its from Australia.

I normally only buy tesco value stuff and use lots of it but I recently succumbed to buying the supreme products blue shampoo and was seriously shocked how well it turned my trads yellow tail back to white
