Hope you mean a loose ring snaffle and not a wilkie type snaffle?
Loose ring will be good, soft metal like a neue schule would be great. Teeth done would also be good as well as a veterinary check whilst ridden to make sure she isn't leaning due to a residual tendon issue. At 4 years old and just coming back into work, being strong is a ridden educational thing and nothing to do with the bit at all.
If the physical things are fine, then you need an instructor to come assess your riding.

No I do mean the one that is similar to the wilkie. Just interesting to see comparison. Think teeth could be an issue, dentist is coming in a week or two! Thanks
