Where are they held? The royal Welsh had it last year, where else does? Also, can anyone tell me a bit more about it? What can and can't go in it, what age etc.

There was a useful thread on here quite recently regarding the (kindly sponsored for the last decade by the Cuddy family) In hand Horse or Pony of the Year Final and qualifying rounds - perhaps someone might have the time to locate it ??

I know in the north the GYS, Cheshire County and Hambleton hold Cuddy qualifiers. Not sure about the rest of the country

www.hoys.co.uk/competitor/competition-cuddy.phpIts basically a supreme championship for the light horse section of these shows. So the Champion for each breed/type (as long as not already qualified) usually goes forward to it and the Champion of them will then qualify for HOYS.
