Having sold horseboxes for some time now, I am seriously fed up with the horsebox buying public! No, I am not at my deskl at 11pm on a Sunday night and we cannot discuss your requirements if you ring me then. If you bring your dog when you come to see a lorry then its your problem not mine if I ask you to leave it in the car because one of mine has been very ill and must not meet other dogs in case of infection and so on and so on but most of all YOU CANNOT HAVE A 7.5 ton LORRY WITH A FULL WETROOM, TWO WATER TANKS AND STILL TAKE THREE BIG HORSES. I WILL NOT sell you this and if you call me a miserable f***ing cow then I might punch you!!!

Had some people to come and look at one of ours, he drove it so badly, nearly totalling it within 100 yards of the farm, I told him to get out, the wife then said 'he drives so badly I wont allow him to drive mine', he then tried to blame it on the lorry having no brakes, well then mate - how did it just go through its test and pass on all accounts on the rolling road? And there are some sellers out there that drive you to distraction. I went to see one a few years ago in North Bucks, and I'd driven from Kent, to be told you can only drive it on our drive as its not taxed, tested or insured ( was assured before I set off I could road test it) the outriggers were very rusty and dangerous and large areas of bodywork had been gaffa taped over and sprayed silver. They were a bit perturbed when I got under it and started having a d**n good look with a torch. Then they got really rude when I said I was'nt interested. Another one, luckily quite close was an absolute liability on wheels and even though they had three days notice I was coming, had'nt bothered to get it started, battery was as flat as a pancake and even with a booster charger on refused to show any signs of life, but to be honest, that was the least of its problems!!! Both of these vehicles were priced at a years worth of wages!! I can really see where you are coming from Fetherston, there are some absolute muppets out there.
