hi joined yorkshire region this yr and nothing yet reg venue or skedule,and there is a show in a few weeks any info pls??

Sorry flanners - the Chairman has informed the office that he wishes to close the branch (which he obviously cannot do!) so we are in the process of setting up a new committee.
The show listed for May 6th will not be going ahead unfortunately but keep an eye on the website for news of later shows.
Do bear in mind that you actually join the whole organisation (but stipulate a branch to have local information sent directly to you) & so you can attend any NCPA event AND get reduced rate entry fees as a member.
Plenty of classes at the Open Show on May 7th for you to enjoy, although obviously a bit further to travel & also several branch shows this weekend & others coming up.

Yorkshire is the biggest county and I find it surprising that there is not 'Yorkshire' branch as such. It would be fantastic if there could be one (I know there is a north yorks/north east branch) but it would be good for something either more central or more south and east as there is nothing really in this area.

owston - there is a Yorkshire branch but sadly the current committee have resigned & we are in the process of forming a new committee which will take the branch forward. Please keep your eye on www.thencpa.co.uk for updates It is hoped to hold an open meeting in the near future for anyone interested & to discuss what the members would like to see the branch organise. |

Three new volunteers have come forward for Yorkshire branch & I shall be writing to all branch members today with news of the date of the Open Meeting & shows for 2012. This will all be on the website www.thencpa.co.uk sometime next week, depending on when the website is updated with Monday being a bank holiday. Meanwhile date for the Summer Show will be Saturday 21st July & the Autumn Show will be on Sunday 28th October Both shows will be held at Mill Lane Stables, Selby |

Three new volunteers have come forward for Yorkshire branch & I shall be writing to all branch members today with news of the date of the Open Meeting & shows for 2012. This will all be on the website www.thencpa.co.uk sometime next week, depending on when the website is updated with Monday being a bank holiday. Where are committee meetings to be held? If not too far away I may be interested in helping out where I can.....if so I will become a member. Haven't up until now as the Yorks shows been too far away and I tend to support the Notts/Lincs branch shows as they are nearer. Mill Lane only 20 mins away so that will be great! |

owston - I think the committee will decide on meeting venues when fully formed. The Open meeting will be at the Golden Lion, Birkenshaw on Wednesday 16th May at 7.30pm so perhaps you might like to pop along to that to find out more (& dare I say it volunteer!)

Having sent out all the letters to the branch members The Golden Lion has shut!!!!! (Must be the thought of the NCPA meeting LOL!)
The new venue is just next door though - The Halfway House, 1 Whitehall Road East, Birkenshaw BD11 2EQ
So hope lots of you will still make it!

If you can't make the meeting but would like to raise any points etc let Kate or Lesley know and these can be raised on your behalf. We have already booked judges for the first show so we look forward to making it a success but we want and need membership input and involvement.

Super meeting last night - really good to see members old & new making the effort to support the branch! A new committee is now in place - contacts will be up on www.thencpa.co.uk next week. Plans well underway for the July Show (21st July, Mill Lane Stables, Selby) - lots of qualifiers for other societies as well as NCPA - again watch the website for the final published version, which will also be posted out to Yorkshire branch members. It would be a real boost if lots of other branch members could attend too - you will all be certain of the usual warm NCPA welcome! |

Hi all, Yorkshire Branch is up and running and arrangements are being made for the first show - 21 July at Mill Lane, Selby.
Classes will be run for CHAPS, Equifest, BSPS, TGCS & of course NCPA Pony of the year. The schedule will be on the NCPA website soon - check out Facebok.
