Well our Homebred Coloured racehorse Angrove Rumbaba is entered into his firt race on the 23rd of April at Hexham its going to be an exciting day for him and for us, his dam is due to foal in early may as well to a perlino stallion should make a cracking eventer I wont be eligable to race as its got by AI all so exciting   |

oooooh excited i will be watching that hopefully im dying for a coloured TB doubt the race owner will get one though or breed one

I had a showjumper in the 1960s with the same markings. They were rare and unfashionable, but I loved my Roma to distraction.

Lisadundee -Angel is in foal to Dunhill Desert Storm she due in a couple of weeks I am really looking forward to seeing the difference of less blood and if the foal looks any different to Rummy and Sylla. Auntibarb, How brill you had a rare one then! my first coloured was on loan to me when the lady when to Rada, he was a buckskin an white cob x native very very sweet back in 1982 I was hooked from then on! in the 1990s I wanted to breed a coloured racehorse but divorce got in the way dream on hold till 2005, but i guess if you want something badly enough you do it!  |

but Ricco isnt TB, he is NTR. He was bred up here near me and has a coloured cob as a grandmother. Nothing wrong with that, dont get me wrong and there are a lot of very successful racehorses on the NTR (Non Thoroughbred Register). Thank you Stormyskies it was Fab so nice and the evening gazette did a piece we were also in the racing post along with the coloured horse thats come 10th or last twice. Ricco Grandam is a half bred by Flying Bee funny you should comment on her as I was only talking to the owner of Flying Bee the other day! she very kindly sent me all his pedigree and info about him being a premium stallion he won four races and was placed 10 time 4 of his progeny are advanced eventers, Ricco was bred by a very dear friend of mine as well and his dam was owned by another friend her sire was also half bred from a long line of advanced eventers including Paul tapners late horse Kilfinni11 a lotf of the french horses are NTR and I am sure you will remember Clantime he was added to the GSB www.allbreedpedigree.com/index.php?query_type=horse&h=ANGROVE+RUM+BABA&g=5&cellpadding=0&small_font=1&l=We have added a little to the bloodline dont you think! |

Leanne we sold Ricco last year, due to my illness and the fact we had to concentrate on the next generations ie Rummy and Pudding both entire boys Rummy runs today I would think Ricco is ok I have not heard other wise
