See the reasoning behind Yes wanting to compete her pony locally so grandparents can come and watch though can't get to grips with the judge also showing their own pony in another M&M section. This can't be done under NPS rules but is it right for someone in a position of responsibility and authority as a judge to set a poor example by breaking with this principle?

I totally agree and it will be intersting to see the resuts of the LR!! However If 'yes' was only entering a HOYs qual so that the family could see the child ride why was she entered in a HOYS qualifier on a different pony a couple of weeks ago and came 2nd??

Exactly, so if that had qualified as well it would have been two wasted qualifiers. Was that a local county show as well??
