I am a bit confused to say the least. Derbyshire Festival are saying we MUST register with hoys and not send the hoys entry form to them. Hoys are saying we must send the official entry form to each qualifier. NofEngland include the official entry form and no mention of registering with hoys. Which is it? my point EXACTLY!!!!

I am the owner & a member of NPS, my daughter is the Lead Rein handler & is covered at NPS shows by my membership so does this also cover her for HOYS classes as she isn't actually a memeber in her own right? My jopckey is a BSPS member but I think from another query/response that this is ok?!
Also, how do you register with Grandstand media - have looked at the HOYS site but couldn't see anything?

FLU VAC
I am hoping for HOYS that normal rules apply. The first jab and the booster is fine. Our third one is not due for two weeks, are we alright?
Thanks

I hope so too, as ours only started his course in July,so has had the first and the booster.
Also does anyone know if you can bring the horse on site before the time stables are booked from (5pm)? For various reasons we're planning to arrive with the horse a few hours early but not stable him until the stable is ready.

Last year we were a bit early and our stable wasn't empty so the pony had to stay on the lorry til 5 when it was empty. Then it was disgusting and it was a producer who left it. YUK

Ok so I have an M&M, an adult rider and she is no relation to me so for next years M&M qualifier does the rider have to be a member of some society or other and as I am a member of one m and m society but it is a different breed to the one I want to enter do I need to become a member of another society. eg I am a full member of the Highland pony society but want to show a Connemara can I do that as a member of the HPS

Further query from a first timer to HOYS qualifiers....am I right that only the (adult) rider needs to be a member of a relevant society to enter a qualifier, so, as in the case of Royal Norfolk entry form the HOYS id they ask for is the riders? Have got the riders id from registering with Grandstandentries, but then read somewhere that you have to send a different form to the show with all details of horse/rider/owner etc, so does this mean that all have to be members? In which case where would one put all these numbers, or are they all under one id? Confused.com !! Tried ringing NPS but no answer for 2 days of trying!

Can I ask a question about riders?? If a different rider is riding pony at a show than the one entered, do I need to change anything with show secretary for HOYS qualifiers? Both old rider and new rider are registered with HOYS? Thanks!

amh299 - it is worth letting the show secretary know so they can amend their records

Can anyone help with booking stables on the online entry system?
Pony is due to compete on the Thursday so we need a stable for the Wednesday night, Thursday day time. When I go to book a stable it asks for the day of the class, so naturally I put Thursday. However I'm concerned I will just get a stable for the Thursday day time, rather than the Wednesday night. Can anyone advise me on what I need to do? Apologies if I'm being completely thick on this, but I don't want to waste £70 on a stable that doesn't do the job!!!
