I've not been to HOYS in years and would like to go this year, the class I'd like to watch is early (yawn!) so I was thinkIng of booking a hotel and tickets now while it's available, and wondered if anyone can recommend the best / nearest one please?
Tescos are doing a voucher exchange towards Hilton hotels so I wondered about doing that for the metropole hotel, which looks gorgeous, or going with the Arden hotel package deal their offering to watch the m&ms
I don't fancy walking miles to the show either!!!!
Thanks in advance

We've stayed in the Arden several times. It's quite nice and not too far to walk - about 10 mins. Last year we stayed at one in the airpot that was quite basic but very handy as it was a short walk to the shuttle which goes straight into the NEC. I think it was called Ibis or Isis or something similar.

The crown plaza is the closest hotel. I have stayed at the plaza and the hilton and both are very nice.

We have stayed at both the Ibis and the Novotel, they are fairly basic but very clean and so convenient, you just walk across the road and a little train thing takes you straight into the NEC. The only problem is, there is no car park, you have to park in the multi storey nearby.

The breakfast at the Hilton is FAB, and early enough for the first classes in the Caldene.
