Swap for smaller?? My husband had bought me a horsebox(without consulting me!) that I have spent the last 3 weeks putting new living in and tidying up, good floors, light good ramp that I can lift, good bodywork and looks lovely. Sleeps 4, large luton, new sink/taps/unit and glass topped new hob. Seperate grooms/tack area and wardrobe, currently stalled for 3 horses but lots of room for 2 more with extra partitions. On a MAN 1985 chassis, good to drive, good brakes etc however I cannot drive it as never driven a lorry before so I need a smaller horsebox 3.5/5t before progressing to bigger things, want something with space for living - I can refit etc and to take 2 ponies. Our lorry is valued at £4500 - open to ideas/part ex/swap etc, pm me for more info/pics/ideas - Thanks

Get it weighed, with all that in it it may well be over weight. Also be very careful buying a 3.5t with living, get it weighed before you commit to handing over any money. To carry 5 horses it would need an unladen weight of less than 5t.
