I had a great day too Harley won the 3yr old youngstock class even when he was the worst behaved. . His behaviour was bad , he smelt a mare, so he only had one thing on his mind. Then he sorted his life out and won the coloured pony in hand. We then took a third on the m&m class sec c/d with my micky boy and Jester took a fifth in the yearling class. Abbie was ready for her bed ;D Thanks Abbie for all off your patients and energy - keep up the good work. We have had a great season and cant wait for the next

We had a couple of very good looking horses in the later classes that just could not manage to trot either away or towards us - so both ended up unplaced. It is such a shame when they cannot perform on the day but how are we to place a horse where we cannot see any movement. At least yours was able to show his paces!

Were you the steward fmm for the classes?
I totally agree about the movement , he was a total different horse in the other classes. We do try and practise at home but sometimes it just dont work. Just hope he behaves well for his stallion grading this month.

Oh what a shame, pinkiepie! You are a lucky girl, he is certainly a gorgeous catch and useful too by the sounds of it! Does he have a brother?

Seniorguest - regarding the veterans - Dear john won the ridden. He actually won the in hand veteran as well - in the younger age group - but didn't come anywhere in that championship. The next age group up stood champion and reserve. The winner was a lovely stallion shown by Angie Bell and reserve was the sweetest pony - I heard that it was 37 years old or something. Oh it was so, so lovely. . John went on to win the ridden and stand champion ridden.
