Maxi cob gelding, 6 years old. Superb looking big boned/type cob.
Good to clip, shoe, bath, farrier, box, travel, hates being wormed and snorts a bit but nothing to worry about!!
Hacks out alone or in company and with me hes never appeared to spook or shy or be scared of passing artics or tractors etc. He apparently hunted as a baby in Ireland. He has done very very (tiny!) low key cross country which he virtually stepped over and a pleasure ride.
He came over to me unschooled whereupon I did a little low key bonding and showing in hand (royal windsor 2011!) where he was 2nd in the CHAPS coloured in hand. He has done various local classes etc ridden and in hand and has never been unplaced. I do not jump any more due to an accident I had a few years ago, but Harvey certainly does! A friend of mine taught him to jump proper jumps last year but he can clear hedges, big five bar gates with ease. He is completely wasted on me hence the reason for sale. He is my husbands favourite yet I cannot justify him doing nothing, he is too good to stand in the field eating grass. Husband does not ride either and he is not suitable for a 1st horse, hes only a baby in my eyes still and I would only consider a knowledgeable home for him.
He spent 4 months being professionally schooled by KJ last year and is fit and ready to go.
Due to todays market I am looking for £4.5k which is quite a bit less than I paid for him and considering the amount we have invested in him in professional schooling etc this is not a sale for profit its about finding him a good/right home.
PM me if your interested and I have many photos of him, including jumping!
