Hi, I really wanted to show my 12.2hh exmoor x welsh sec a this year, however ive been told im too big too show him.. What do you guys think? Ive seen bigger riders on ponies that size i dont think so.

Cute pony! I think you would be fine, I agree with dubshee, I have seen much bigger riders on smaller ponies than yourself. Go for it! Love the spotty pony too, is he yours as well?

Your legs aren't dangling and you look nice on him - I'd go for it, but take note of the judges who mention your height and don't show under them in future!

I'm an adult that rides a pony. At 5ft9 and my boy only being 14hh, but slowly creeping to 14.2hh! You look fine on your pony. I do agree with nia2311. Take note of the judges. I know I will when I start showing! Go have fun and enjoy xx

You look fine! Unless you look extremely tall in M&Ms they don't seem to mind, just take note of the judges who said you're too tall, & learn to avoid them in the future! Best of luck. |

I would say you look ok and would not necessarily look out of place in the ring, but he would look even better with a smaller jockey. You look very nice on the spotty!

Go out and have a nice time showing,
My jockey looked as big and we still won loads,
I hate to see very small jockeys on big ponies
Seen enough off them going off with them in the ring!
It's more of a weight thing!!
