this is gonna be a really 'woe is me' thread i'm afraid I've always been a chunky lass, more of a show cob than a show pony. Even crossing the line to a maxi cob. For two years i battled the hell of slimming world....then ended up with a naff groupe leader and off the wagon i fell. started again at the beginning of the years lost over a stone in the first 2 weeks, then hell at home happened and i stopped. Well i did a show yesterday, and have just seen the photos... O M G what do i look like!. I'm horrified at myself. I know i need to diet, i know how to diet, i know what to eat and what not to eat, so why can't i just do it! its really got to me now. I've just cried down the phone to OH who has surprised me and brought me an exercise bike as i really don't have time for the gym, as much as i want to go, and has said he will support me with the diet, as he himself has lost 8 stone. But i feel such a failure and a lump! I know it will improve things with the horses which is pretty much all I work for. i'm just so bloomin upset with myself grrrrrr why can't i just give up food dammit!

Oooo tell me about it! I had a baby 9 months ago and I still weigh what I did just after I had him! I've got 2 stone to lose and zero motivation (am typing while munching smarties!!!) I've started running twice a week (well more of a jog and can only handle twenty mins!) still not lost weight tho! It's so hard to be motivated when there's so much temptation around

I think the only way to lose weight is not to go on a diet just eat a lot less fat. Eat healthy small portions and take a long time doing it or you will find you lose loads of weight but that and more will go on when you "fall off the wagon" if there is no wagon you dont have anything to fall off. I have lost 2 stones and have another 2 to lose it has taken me over a year and I have never been hungry. I am not helped by being a diabetic which means I have to eat carbs so my blood sugar stays up. I tried reducing them and replacing with protein but I ended up hypoing regularly

Ugh I feel the same! Although with the amount of walking I do up hill you'd thinkbid be a size 12! I'm not, I'm 22 years old, a size 16 and have a horrible ugly flabby stomach as I've had 2 c sections and it's impossible to shift! Doesn't help that I have an under active thyroid!
