Brogini are lovely and last a while. Regent are also worth a look in, do a lovely straighter cut long boot.

I've just ordered a pair of de niro's, I tried them on at a shop and was impressed with how soft the leather is compared to the brogini's/sarm hippiques I tried on and I have trouble finding boots as I have long thin legs - didn't want big bolky boots with my stick legs!!

Sarm Hippiqe love mine, they have been so comfortable to wear from day one, have owned them now for about 8 years and still look as good as new

I'm going to be in your shoes soon (excuse the pun :-) ) for buying long boots! I was looking at Joshua jones boot makers!(I'm sure that's what they were called) They had a stand at hoys a few years back! They are lovely and made to measure.. And quite honestly when I enquired price wise .. I was very happy! Let us know which you end up going for :-) Laura xx

Regent are fantastic quality, look stunning, fit amazingly (so so comfy once they've been worn in!) & aren't too pricey either. I'm on my second pair of long boots (grew out of my first pair ) & have only worn them to 4 shows, having only worn them for the actual class, & they're nice & supple already. Really recommend them.

Brogini are nice, very comfortable too...I didn't like my Regent boots as they took ages to break in and were never really comfy to wear, although they were a bargain price.
