I need to buy some fly rugs for our ponies (sizes 5'0") and wondered if anyone can recommend anything.
Our section B has a very fine mane and I can't risk the rug rubbing any more out.
I would prefer ones that have a removable neck (in case of rubbing) and preferably quite soft mesh material.
Any suggestions welcome.

We have the Amigo fly rugs with removable necks. They are good quality and fit, wash well and do not rub!

This one ;D ;D ;D ;D Underneath all that pink is a very embarassed gelding pmsl. Its a katie price one, was £35 plus P & P from her own website. Seems quite well made, all the bits are detachable and its nice and soft. And its a lovely colour for a little girls little pony!

Katie Price !!!! AMWAP !!!!! It does look a jolly nice little rug though, good price and, presumably, she makes them with plenty of chest room !

I've always liked KP sagey. Shes made a pretty good living out of having big boobies, being a bit of a trollope and a bit of a pi55 head. Fair play to her cos I tried for years pmsl. It is actually quite a nice rug. Only ordered because of the pester power of a 7 year old daughter though. But it was a compromise to stop her nagging for a KP style lorry. So 350+k or £35 plus P & P seemed like a good deal and her daddy is off the hook now. ;D Lots of chest room. Its like a M & S bra.

Having tried on our new masta bug rug today I am impressed! Looks to fit really well and material is great. We will see how we get on when this rain stops! Also I think premier equine start at 5'6 and have been told they come up big! Although agree they are fantastic rugs! I never understand why some companys dont go below 5'6!!

I asked on here and was reccomended the HY Guardian Fly Rug. Very pleased with it. The neck is long enough and goes over the ears, so it doesn't slip and leave the neck exposed to the flies

Thank you for all the ideas - we going shopping over the weekend to look at some of the suggestions.
Hardly need one today though as so windy and rainy here!
