My puppy is nearly 6 months old and I was just wondering when you all stop feeding twice a day and go down to one?? She doesn't eat all of her feeds at once now she goes back and finishes it an hour later. She also started pooing for england which makes me wonder if it's just going straight through her??
Your thoughts please and she is wormed up to date ect :-)

I start them on 1 meal by about 6 months but i started with dry food, leaving a bowl for her to pick at throughout the day instead of at times! Have you changed the food? Is it runny poo or just normal poo that happens more often?

No everything is all normal she just seems to be going more. Shes not fat and not thin. She has been on beta puppy since she started on hard food and following their guidlines. She has been putting weight on every month as I take her there for wormers.

All of mine are adults and fed twice a day except my oldie (14yrs) who gets 3 meals a day. None of them are overweight. Personally I'd be wary of following manufacturers guidelines, they do tend to be on the generous side to put it mildly. Mine are fed on a mixture of raw and good quality dry food. Can you tell me what size/breed your puppy is and the quantity of food you're giving her?

our 2 are fed twice a day , main meal am , and a small tea when we get back from the yard , neither are over weight , and i feel that once every 24hrs is a little hard on their system , imo ,i did feed dry food , but the younger one was drinking so much water along with it he was peeing over night , so have gone back to tinned food ,but they also have carrots as treats during the day,----- i would say that as puppy is loose that achange of feed maybe required , and pehaps less , if she doesnt eat it in one go then she had enough for one sitting , then leave until the next feed , hope you find a solution

She is half dogue de bordoux quater staff and quater pressa. She is about the same size as a full grown staff and she's 6 months old. Poo's are all normal just seems to be more of them?? She has beta dry puppy food but moistened a little bit as per directions. She is on about 350gms twice a day. I think thats right without looking on the bag. She also has a denta stick or chew when we go out once a day to keep her busy now she has all her adult teeth. Last time we were at the vets about a month ago she weighed 14kgs :-)
