We've had a major crisis here in the last month, our spaniel inhaled a grass seed and it's worked its way through her lung into the chest cavity and ended up on the end of her last rib in what the vets describe as a foreign body tumour. She's had 3 major ops at Newmarket and is hopefully now over the worst, the bill so far is £7000!. The other spaniel has had two removed one up her nose and one in her tonsil this year. Has it been a particularly bad year for these **** things or have we just been unlucky?

Can't recommend Sainsbury's dog insurance more highly, paid out without a murmur and quickly too.

Sending get well vibes to the Spaniel - what a massive bill to have been caused by a grass seed.
