If layout for this year is as previous years, then both WHP rings have a bank/hill. Both these natural features usually have a jump on the top &/or a fence quite close on the flat.
The WHP working in area next to the road also has a similar feature which competitors use for practise.

normally does but it wasnt used for the qualifier at the spring festival this yr when in previous years it has so who knows?
i have never had any issues with my ponies going up or down it
