Okay guys, here's my problem, I have a new pony, and therefore need a new tweed. But having so much trouble trying to find on that suits her and me! Looking at Le beau cheval, Mrs Candy, Showing Selection etc. Can't find anything! My pony is a liver chestnutie sort of colour. So please could you advise me on colours, put pictures of your tweeds that you use with chestnuts, and tell me where you got them from? Would help me so much, thanks! www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=3332609679428&set=a.3227180003752.2121574.1394122394&type=1&relevant_count=3&ref=nf. - Photo of my mare

Le beau cheval are very helpful, if you contact them they will send you a full swatch list. I did this and after taking the time to look at them next to my pony went for a completely different tweed, which they then made to measure for my daughter. Excellent service.

My pony is a chestnut & we have a showing selection jacket. It is a green tweed with a plum & purple thread. I've had another one that was good - a green tweed with a yellow & dark green thread. Hope this helps - chestnuts are so beautiful. DGP

My liver chestnut mare I wore a brown shires tweed jacket with a red tie and scrunchie which didn't look to bad when showing!! With my dark bay I have a green tweed jacket with a blue velvet collar which is from the Tagg range - highly recommended!! I also have a blue tie and schrunchie with golden stars on.

I always think green or light tweeds always look the best on chestnuts
