I've advertised my 4 year old WELSH D and I've had several people ring/ email asking all the relevant questions then ask how big is he? So I tell them he's 14.2 and get the reply "oh he's a bit small for me" so when I ask how big are you looking they say "15hh+"
WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE!!! 14.2 is the ideal height for a D if you want 15hh+ don't even bother with M&M's because there are very few half decent D's 15h+
Sorry for the rant but when its a heartbreaking sale it just makes it more difficult having timewasting phone calls

Perhaps the height should be in your advert. I do agree though you do get emailed a lot of silly questions

Prehaps but still doesn't avoid the fact that people want silly heights and still expect the pony to be a good stamp

I dont agree with very few d's being nice at 15hh i see the same 15hh d's get placed higher than the smaller ones at shows i have attended and my D is 15hh and is more pony like that some 14.2hh!

Maybe they just want a 15hh+ as they would look big on a 14.2 version ;D

I can't understand why the height isn't in the advert anyway? Its hard enough selling at the moment, so include all the information......... I wouldn't call someone wanting a 15hh + section D a "stupid potential buyer."

You should put the height in the advert as a section D can range from 13.3hh upwards whether they be good types or not!!!

Put as much detail as possible in the advert, you can not class people as timewasters if you don't put the basics in. Whether you agree with other peoples opinion is neither here nor there, if you put the height in in the first place you will eliminate the people who you think have "something wrong with them"!

Agree it would save time (yours and theres) if all relevant information was in the advert especially height. There is nothing more frustrating than an advert without a height or price which means a potential buyer has to contact the seller to ask the question.
