Due to the cancellation of qualifying shows again this weekend. Anyone who has qualified for a class at this years championship show, will be allowed to enter other qualifying classes. The show is NOT being opened up to anyone, only to competitors who have taken the trouble to qualify and are struggling to qualify in more classes due to the cancellation of so many shows. We are aware also of the expense of travelling to the show for just the one class.
Hope this helps the many dissapointed people we have spoken to over the weekend.

Slightly off topic but can anyone tell me which day the ridden vets and ridden m+m classes are on? I can't open the schedule and need to rearrange shifts at work I fully support this decision as although we managed to get all our qualifiers a few weeks back we went to a show that wasn't a qualifying show but my little one was disappointed as a show we had planned on going to was cancelled so we were a bit stuck for choice and it cost nearly 100 quid! We just can't afford to do that and I'm sure many others are the same

My 8yr old daughter qualified for the equitation in April but since then sadly and unexpectedly her pony had to be pts, can she still compete there with her new pony or does she have to qualify again? Thanx.

Misteric In Equitation it is the rider who qualifies. Red sky Ridden vets Saturday, M+M`s Sunday. Bigmama and Sansung we understand how you feel, but we feel it was the better option, at least this way people have qualified, and we have not opened the show up. Of course we are aware this is not idea, but on Sunday evening we returned home from the yard, and between us we had 71 messages from competitors still trying to qualify, but apart from one show all the others had cancelled this weekend yet again. We are trying to be fair with everyone. Ponies UK have opened there show to people who qualified and attended the Champs last year. Everyone is struggling at the moment.

I understand what you are saying Jeanette but there have been lots of show in the north west which have not cancelled and if i and others have sought out and attended the qualifiers why cant everyone else who wants to go to UK Showing .. it will have cost some of us far more money than others ... re. another society opening up their show to those who attended their championships last year, that may be more to do with lack of entries this year as other societies flourish and take away the competitors, perhaps?

Hollyandpebs You can enter the adult and child on the day. And not necessarily plaited, It`s just an open Adult and Child class.
