We use Tailgators, they are fantastic, my highland charges round like a lunatic in the field and he never manages to loose his, they are well worth the investment.... First got one for our sec D, and wouldn't use anything else now :-)

Caspa does the tail bag have to attach to a rug? I'm pretty sure they do but just wanted to check :-)

I use the Tailgators too, they attached through the tails plait at the end of the tail bone, with 2 velcro straps, they do not attach to a rug, if your handy with the sewing machine, im sure you could easily make one

I have made and sold a few tailbags ( Grotbags) None of the ones i have made have attached to a rug and they stay on well, i leave mine on for a week and just take out at weekends to re-oil, i ride/lunge and turn out my guys in them, i found the ones with elastic round the top really rubbed and most were never big enough for my guys huge tails, so resorted to making my own from thick, waterproof, slidey material. ;D
