I need to order a new Lycra Hood, which do you think fit the best and give best results....

I used to have supreme hoods, they lasted for years.
I've now got a snuggy hood one and a dress circle one (neck only, not full body). To me the snuggy hood one feels better quality and like it will stand up to more abuse from my horse than the DC one!

Snuggy Hoods last better for sure, and a good fit for M&M's. The staff are really helpful and friendly!

Ive been known to throw a blouse away rather than stitch a button on - it would take me 20 years to make a hood. If you are offering to take pity on a poor useless sod - Pony size please !!!!

Funny how I can sew plaits to perfection (well...almost), sew elastic on jods with pin-point accuracy, even have a well equipped sewing box in the lorry....YET if any of us needs a button sewing on or a hem repair etc. at home we have a total "mexican standoff" over who will do it...and thats before we play "hunt the sewing box" in the house!!!!

I have snuggy hoods and they have been brilliant ...the outdoor ones get washed everyday thru the winter and they still good as new..was thinking on getting a DC lycra one as they on offer at the moment. Just noticed Snuggy now doing trousers to attach to the Sweet itch body they do ...might speak nicely to OH ...or failing that I know his Credit card no anyhow lol and order one for the minging grey I have who likes to find fox poo in the field to roll in

Steer clear of the cheaper stretchy ones, seen too many ponies get sore eyes from these ones I prefer snuggy hoods, they don't seem to move at all

Another vote for Snuggy Hoods
Watch out for Dress Circle. I had a bad experience with these people (when trading under different name on eBay) when order took ages, and half of it never turned up at all !!
Not as good quality as Snuggy's either. Thick hoods are great and they can go out in them , in stable, touch as anything. And easily washed - although dont wash mine every day in winter ! Maybe once every 1-2 weeks .
Lexy.

Supreme are very good but I bought mine off e-bay from America at half the price . They have full zips up the front so you don't have to put them on over the heads ,they are very tough and fit snuggly ,come in various sizes and colours and take about a week to ten days to arrive .If you do order from there ask them to put GIFT on the package that way you won't pay import duties .
