Just came home from the school run and heard the Magpies and Crows going mad in the garden so I went round to find my cat pinned down on the lawn by a couple of magpies and 3 crows every time he tried to move they flew at him, so he stayed still and they were surrounding him on the ground. He's come flying in through the cat flap a few times recently with tufts of fur missing and I assumed it was one of the local feral cats - but thinking about it the birds were around the house at the same time so perhaps it's them. How do I get rid of a family of 3 crows and magpies? We had the large trees taken down last summer so they don't have a convenient hunting perch, or nest site particularly close to the house. Worried what they'd do to him if I hadn't been there
