I'm fed up of using 2 lunge reins so have decided to buy sme long reins. But as per usual, there are various different lengths ....
What do I need for a 14.2 cob?

I bought an interesting lunge rein from ebay the other week - it has a sliding part on it so you can make it longer for long reining. I didn't realise at the time or I would have bought two - good idea I thought....and a nice purple colour!  |

I find my 30ft lines just about right for long reining.
Don't bother getting ones with handles at the end, as they're just perfect for putting a foot in by mistake, and you need to be able to adjust the lengths as you go if you're circling, figures of eight etc, so shouldn't be holding at the ends anyway!
