I booked it ages ago, now I know Travelodges are very basic and you get what you pay for but I've just looked at the reviews on Tripadvisor and they are dire. It sounds like it is a filthy dirty hole.
I don't mind basic but I would like clean!!
Has anyone stayed there who can either confirm or deny this??!!

we stayed there last year and its awful changed room twice but it was no better filthy dirty even the duvet !!! and for £120. no thanks , did complain and got half the money back, take photo evidence for your complaint and the dust is another thing , no manager there most of the time, and dont have the breakfast either eat out...
we have booked the premier inn thats just down the lane so fingers crossed its better.

I've just checked out and I'm off how. It was disgusting!!!! Bird droppings on inside window sill, carpet disgusting didn't take my shoes off. HORRENDOUS!

A bit late for you now but we stayed Thursday night and were quite happy. The room was clean the bed was comfortable it was quiet and the staff very pleasant. It is a bit tired in places but it is a Travelodge and it is cheap!
