I would like to buy a full size electric guitar for my son.
It must be in full working order (happy to re-string) and be in good condition - no dents, damaged fret board etc, and with all original fittings (e.g. whammy bar, scratch plate) still intact. Obviously, no girly colours but no preference otherwise. The main thing is that it works, looks good and needs no refurbishment, as it will be a birthday present (secret!) and will be used for graded examinations in the next year, so it must be ready to play.
I can collect within a half hour radius of Bolton and for a second hand instrument would be looking to pay less than £70. A new one can be purchased for not a lot more, but my budget is tight as we also have to buy an amp and leads.
If anyone has a suitable instrument they would like to sell, and are local (ish) to Bolton, please PM me. I would need to make the purchase before 9th August when we go away, so am keen to buy asap. I would prefer to see photos prior to purchase, so if you PM me I can supply my email address.
