Im having a good moan as in one of those moods. How hard is it to find a evening/weekend job. All i want is to work on a farm/livery yard, dont mind getting Sh*t up. I even wouldnt mind a cleaning job, to be perfectly honest anything will do. i dont ask much Harvey being ill has broke me, mum buying me a new pony probably hasnt helped as thats another thing to spend money on but in the grand scheme of the other things im paying out its tiny amounts. Even contemplating selling my car and buying a banger! im sure loads of people are in this position but needed to vent my stress. over and out!

Never mind, its hard to get part time jobs at the moment - how do you find time for all that anyway?! I know a lot of students who wanted summer jobs who struggled - it was dead easy when I was younger. Can you hang on till the Christmas season? A lot of shops take on temp. staff from the end of Oct/start of Nov to cope with Christmas demand....

Hi, sorry to hear your probs, could you do some weekend work on reception or answering evening and weekend calls for the vets. As a PM you should have a decent salary, if not why talk to the partners and ask for an increase, be prepared before the meeting, make a list of your duties, a list of what things you have put in place since you became PM, if you see drug reps and are able to make the choice of what drugs are used then look at that and make a note of the savings to the practice. Staff savings by changing rota's. That sort of thing. Also look at your job description and list the jobs you do above the ones on your description, you might be surprised at what you do!. I was a PM for about 18 years now a drug rep so if you want to ask me anything post on your thread and I will mesage you back. Good luck

We dont open weekends and we close at 530 so couldnt really do any of that. i have offered to do locomotion scoring at weekends for them but they never seem to keen on ideas like that even though they could do with the help. All the rep work is handles by our buyers at the main practice. i did look into swapping to be a rep but just never carried on with it. I am on a decent wage but all the debt ive got into at uni and over the past 7 years eats up 3 quarters of it each months and i cant get out of my overdraft and the only way to do it will be to get another job.
