How are the classes judged, interested in novice conn/newf/D and m&m whp exc18 Have only done local riding club level before, is it done like them where you jump your round, if you go clear you come back in to do the show ? Or is it like at RI where you jump then go on to do show and strip help please

Jump round, whether you go clear or you get like every pole down, you still go in to do your show (don't forget to get groom to remove boots! And do a fabulous gallop of course!) and then go back into the conformation ring for strip.

Yes you do, then for the strip take off saddle and martingale and lead and trot pony up in hand for the judge to access his conformation

First of all you declare yourself to the ring steward so they know youre there. You normally jump in number order but you may have to put your number down in an order. You then go in jump your round and from there you will probably going into a separate ring with the confirmation and ride judge and do your show. You then need to strip your pony and go back in for the trot up. Then wait for your results. It's quite rare at these shows that you have to walk trot and canter in a group but it's always up to the judge to decide. Hope that helps x
