help has anyone else had a problem with entries not being received.Rang Equifest beginning of the week as i had not got my numbers and was told that the last of the numbers had been sent out in the last 10 days and that after checking they could find no record of my entry being received.I asked what could be done was told nothing I said they take entries on the day could we do that and pay the extra but was no.i pointed out that the pony had a stable and bedding booked and paid for and surely we could do something as I cant be the only person in the world whose entry has gone astray again told no.i know shows have to have rules but when the rules become the be all and end all and commonsense and flexibility cannot be applied i think its a very sad day. The girl that rides for me was very upset and immediately emailed Betsy explaining the situation and pointing out that none of the classes are full and that some only have 8 entries, she has paid for a caravan up there and now has no pony to ride and I have a stable for the duration which I have no use for.we are still waiting for a reply. To add insult to injury had to have one of my horses put down on Tuesday after a fractured hip am i the only person with this much bad luck.

As you say there has to be some flexability and as you have all other arrangments in place its obvious that you have actually had your entries lost and would have had no way of knowing this until the numbers didnt appear so i am sure in view of this Betsy will do her utmost to sort it out ,good luck and sorry about your poor horse x

Has the cheque been cleared? Did you pay for stables at the same time?

We have received several calls this week from exhibitors whose entries have not been received. We want to be as flexible as possible, but unfortunately, there comes a time when we have to say we can accept no more new exhibitors. We printed off all of the entry sheets on Tuesday and after this time, we had to close all pre-entries. It is not us being difficult or unsympathetic, but we have less than a week to get everything else organised. This is all of the result sheets, eventing times, dressage times for the dressage co-ordinator, meal vouchers, evening dining lists, evening performance lists, clip boards, bedding vouchers for pre-ordered easibed, stabling lists for the Stable Managers - not to mention the setting up of 19 outdoor rings, the indoor arena with all of the barriers, surface, grandstand seating, banners, ring signs, stable numbers, fire extinguishers, show office, rosettes etc!!! We know that there are some disappointed and angry exhibitors, but schedules have been out since the end of March and the on line entry system working since mid-May! Please do not take your frustration out on the very hard working Office staff!

Very disappointed with Equifest I understand that at some point they have to call a halt to entries and move on as the show is now so close and I am sure that a lot of people appreciate them keeping online entries open until Tuesday but that has only made matters worse as I phoned at the beginning of the week when apparently online entries were still open and I was still told nothing could be done. I have phoned again this morning and of course its now too late.
