Has any one used this bit. Am thinking of getting one for my youngster to progress on from his Happy mouth. Just wondered what people thought of them.

I have been thinking of getting one for my youngster. Mines in a jointed snaffle at moment and working above it which is very annoying, probably the bit is hitting the roof of her mouth so I need something mild and something to get her working on the bit. I would trail one first, at least you can find the right bit that way and not waste loads of money

Another vote for ns or sprenger bits... most think i only come accross one of my horses that never went well in any of these, but goes very happily in the loose ring jointed SS variety he is an irish draught..perhaps the shape of his mouth?Who knows? have used and will use again any of the ns or sprnger.

We have started using them and haven't had anything not like it We have also recommended them to friends who have been just as pleased with the results.

Have used it earlier this week. He love it ;D. Sadly he also decided to loose two teeth this week so things are on hold at the moment until his mouth is feeling better.

I really like the NS bits but Ive just bought a Myler Comfort snaffle, the loose ring one for my 4 yr old as a friend has one on hers who goes fab in it and I thought it looked ideal for a baby. If you get them on trial you can always try a few. Sorry only just noticed you have already purchased one.
