I got my 5 year old irish draught only a few months ago, brought a brand new fitted saddle and made sure everything fitted perfectly. On the ground, she's begun to be really moody and seems almost unhappy to be touched let alone be groomed. Although, i do love riding her in a few of the corners of the school she has begun to be moody and slighty naughty threatening to buck and has kicked out a few times when being ridden. When i ask for the transition from walk to trot she pins her ears right back, although slightly offputting to start with, ive got used to her ears.. its the bucking i worry about. Really DONT know what to do, and dont understand why she's suddenly become so unhappy? Opinions wanted please xxx

There is your problem over in ireland they get hammered with riding and ill treated i know this from seeing it in person to me your mare needs the nice approach tell her its ok that she can trust you take her out hacking let her enjoy her self because that will be the problem just go for a nice long walk out somewhere speak to her i know this sounds stupid but it will work

Id rule out any physical pain first before pushing her through it as its a sudden change in behaviour
