Wonderful kind, family home sought for my treasured 6 year old full Connemara who is now starting his new career as a 15hh SHP. Measured out on an objection this July, his summer showing has been cut rather short! He was last seasons top novice Conny, youngest at HOYS in his class, 2nd top conf marks at HOYS. Qualified Olympia SF at his first ever show in his life!May 2011. Won both his RIHS junior and Open ridden RIHS Conn qualifiers (and Champion) his 2nd ever show! Won his HOYS qualifier and 2nd in another. Also won Olympa SF at GYS Showground by 8 marks. THis is a gorgeous pony who always gets very good conf marks, he has tons of bone and is a super big mover. he doesnt need working in (could come straight off the waggon), he is not strong, he is not excitable, he coped with HOYS amazingly last year, just a tad green in his show.
Now he has done a HOYS SHP (his first ) at PUK and although wrong legged and therefore out the placings he was 3rd top conf mark in good company. He is not going to be up there with the very best big horsey SHP's at 150cm but he is a lovely correct model and will give a petite rider a lot of fun and success at a high level. He also jumps nicely at home and I would like him to go to a home who will do some novice workers or a bit of jumping. I am not sure he would make an open worker, but he could try novices and see how he fared. He is of course a super novice 15hh SHP for the winter. I would like a home for him that will NOT overshow him, he would not show every weekend - would get bored very quickly: he likes to hack out, have fun and not be schooled too often! He would also be lovely to do some dressage with his wonderful paces. Basically he is not for someone who just wants to do pure SHP as he will need some variety.
I dont want to sell him as I love him to bits (but sadly I am way to old for 15 handers!) ,he is an extraordinarily friendly, easy character - and I want him back eventually to hack with my children when they are older, and for them to pony club. One day I hope to ride him as a Veteran at Olympia- and a Connemara again! Please see him on this video (the second white grey trotting across the middle).

If you think my lovely boy could be for you (at a sensible lease price) please email me on prporley@btinternet.com with a little about yourself and your jockey, a photo or 2 attached would be great.
Thankyou for reading my rather large advert!
