I'm looking into taking on a yard in blackpool with a paddock, 2 tackrooms, toilet and wanted to know what makes people choose the yard they're on?
What services would you like to see on a yard? and how much would you pay for these services?
How much would you pay for a DIY stable plus feeds in the morning and turn out?
would be interesting to see what everyone thinks anyway!

All year turnout - 24/7 available in Summer, in small (upto five horses) same sex groups which are kept consistent,. Good quality hay supplied. A good worming programme used preferably with Worm Counts used. Good Off Road hacking available. An outdoor school, with a well draining surface that my Instructor can teach me in. Paid services available if need be, so favours don't have to be relied upon under certain circumstances. A friendly, community type atmosphere. An assertive YO who will help to resolve any issues promptly without bias. The bedding of my choice (within reason) which I will pay for. Field's to be poo picked regularly by all liveries - perhaps by rota? A secure tack room and somewhere to drink tea on cold days. Somewhere for rugs and feed to be stored. I'm sure there are more, I'm no longer on Livery though and there's probably good reason for that ;D I'd expect to be paying £30-£40 per week for that around me.
