Following on from my query of when long boots are correct for juniors ............. does anyone know if it's possible to have zips put into leather boots or do they have to be made with the zips in? Daughter has very long & slim legs & struggles to get her feet into boots that are the correct width for her legs (she can get wider boots on easily but she looks like she's standing in a couple of flower pots!!!!) so I was wondering whether it would be possible to get zips put into the narrow boots

It is possible, i had mine done when my legs got too fat for my boots :0( Wasn't too happy with the outcome as i took them to a cobbler, if i was to have them done again i would take them to a saddler!!

Have you tried Treadstone Junior long boots - I am an adult but struggle finding boots that don't look like 'flowerpots' - These were the only ones I could get to fit me (apart from Sarm) and they only cost me £79 and have lasted me 2 seasons and still look new.
