I have been (perhaps too honestly) trying to find a new home for one of our ponies for some time. I love him very much but we have no job for him; two other 'companion' ponies and need to get a bigger riding pony for my daughter. Why do people show real interest in a pony - emails, phone calls etc. Then say they are coming/interested in coming and then simply 'disappear?' and never get in touch again? I went to the field earlier this week thinking my pony would be leaving that very day - a beautiful morning where I sat with him and had a chat and a cuddle and watched him with his friends before having a cry and assuring myself I was doing the best thing for him. If people knew or cared about the distress they cause by being unreliable would they do it? So sad post rather than a moan post!

Know exactly where you are coming from, in the same situation at the moment with our little pony, he is being totally wasted just stood in the field where he could be giving someone a lot of fun, loads of people emailing and txting, one even said she was starting off today took my postcode and said she would see us, and hey ho not a word after that, I can only think positive to the fact that they people who waste our time are not worthy of having them

NJ - I have to admit that I've looked at your ad quite a few times - but we're just too far away in Lancashire - lovely pony X Thanks prettyreckless - we do have our two little mares that will be with us for life - happy to live a quiet life but the big lad gets restless!
