My pony is already getting his winter coat and with shows still planned I wanted to ask which rug do you think is best for getting ponies dry and warm after bath. I HAVe a thermatex rug but with no neck and don't HAVe the funds for somethin expensive, so can anyone recommend a rug on a budget or do I need to start saving?

I put a fleece on and then a breathable cotton lined stable rug on top. It pulls the moisture away from the horse and keeps them warm. Then I air the stable rug to dry it out again for next time. I don't use stable rugs anymore, so it's their only job now.

I have a full neck terry towelling rug, then the thermatex on top.As soo as the neck is dry, I go down to the thermatex only.

Thankyou. Looked on Robinsons but couldn't see any. Where is best place for cheap toweling rugs?
