Went today, sale rubish, travelled 40 miles to get a snuggy turnout hood, guess what got none, they havent come in, dont know when they will be in...., loads of customers moaning saying theyl never go back, its rubbishy, the staff looked and sounded totally peeed off. does no one care about customer care, does the MD know that people are complaining so much because surely someone needs to take this in hand,

i live about an hour drive from where they are. Me and my mum went and its changed hands again and they don't have a clue what they are doing we got pounced on the moment we walked through the door and when we said we just wanted to look around. They couldn't stop looking down there nose at us like we where dirt on there shoe's. we'll never use they again we'll sick with robinsons and ride-away.

I have had some terrible experiences with DH, with things that dont arrive for months and months, but I have to said they are currently in my good books, bought some paddock boots last Thursday 4pm, with bog standard cheapest delivery 3-5 days, they arrived before 10am the next day...impressed!!

I too now loathe DH as others have said you used to get good quality products (often for the more discerning clients) and the customer care was great. The only other mail order tack shop like this was Jet Set in Scotland but guess what they were taken over by DH end result is bog standard goods that you can get anywhere, always out of stock and customer care Nil. Wish there was a local tack shop near me but sadly not so I will be sticking to good old Rideaway and ebay.

Yes I have had problems everything I ordered was out of stock and after saying it would be here it never turned up and now they say they can't get them anymore... Arrgghhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!
We went to the store a few weeks ago and unless it's their own make now they hardly have anything.. think I'll be finding somewhere else!!

Think Derby House has really gone downhill. In the past I have ordered and always received items quickly and efficiently no problems. My last order was for a bridle and reins/girth-it came in 4 different packages from different stores. I ordere 2 sets of sabre reins to go with the bridle both were shipped seperately and 1 of the pairs was definately not sabre and does not match the bridle having the fastenings on the outside. This is the last time I will order from Derby House as I could not be bothered to send them back having taken so long to receive them!!

Made the big mistake of ordering from them a few weeks ago - i think i keep hoping they'll be better next time. I rang them nearly 3 weeks after i ordered a rug, only to be told it wasn't in stock (no change there then). I then ordered from Horserugs4u, order received in 7 days, then had an email from derby house customer service a couple of days ago advising me that they could not fulfil my order and would i like something else! I have referred them to horserugs4u for advice on how to run a stock ordering system and a company....

I have read all these posts with interest and thought service seems pretty bad, last ordered something about two years ago and cant remember having any problems then Anyway in early May I decided to order a Beagler Classic at a very good price - they send emails every week but have never really been tempted up til then - Well it is now the middle of June and it still hasnt arrived (when I check my account says awaiting stock) Decided to give them a ring yesterday and funnily enough it was going to be despatched on that very day, I mentioned I would like to have hat in time for Cheshire next week so Customer Services very kindly said I could pay extra for the express delivery needless to say I declined their offer I think the problem is they now offer stock for sale which they dont actually have Yep, Have to agree with everyone on here - thay are totally cr*p
