Our beloved dog Tippi has been stolen from our farm or near area just north of Driffield, East Yorkshire on September 3 She is a 2.5 yr old long legged black and tan Lakeland terrier x with a distinctive wishbone shaped white marking on her chest and full tail with kink in the end. At the time she was taken she was wearing a red collar; Tippi is also microchipped. Our other black terrier Dill was also taken, but later dumped 35 miles away on the A19 north of York. We are very lucky that someone took her to the nearby RSPCA shelter in York and we now have her home safe. Tippi is very special to me as she was a wedding present from my husband. Substantial reward for her safe return or any info leading to her recovery. No questions asked, I just want her back. 0777 553 5069 I will be posting this info on lost dogs websites and sending her details to every vet practice in the Yorkshire area. I would be grateful if anyone in the north east area could also repost this info and pic where appropriate. I WILL NEVER STOP LOOKING

Have put it on Facebook, but would be happy for others on here to repost this on their fb pages - the more eyes that see it, the better chance of her being spotted.
Have heard, since this happened, of 9 other dogs stolen from farms in recent weeks. This includes a jack Russell puppy stolen when it's owner challenged thieves trying to steal her tack, and then sold on elsewhere. The Humberside police have actually taken the matter seriously and I'm also going to publish ad in local press with reward money to see if that flushes them out

Also go to your farmer feed mills, blacksmith, vets. Have the rspca given you numbers and websites to put this up on. Also any businesses that do deliveries of any sort, postman, milkman, anybody that goes to other property. Give them leaflets to pass about. GOOD LUCK

Thank you for those suggestions x This is Tippi's dog lost poster www.doglost.co.uk/dog_blog.php?dogId=42728#.UEZtqjaa1cZ.mailtoSomeone, somewhere has my dog - if you get offered a terrier meeting her description, or see one at a show, or market, or walking down the street, please let either me or Dog Lost know. It just takes one person to spot her. Just one

I am very pleased to report Tippi has been found We think she was dumped after the thief saw the wall of publicity around her theft - she was distressed and her collar had been tampered with, but otherwise unharmed. She is also not hungry, which suggests she has been held somewhere by someone who has fed her Many thanks for all th help and suggestions
