I have a couple of questions regarding turnout for both ridden and inhand M&M. I currently have a bay mare, a real conker colour. I've generally found she looks good with a greenish tweed. I'm looking to buy a new tweed and the one I've seen and like is greenish with a lilac over check. Could I get away with a purple/lilac tie or would it look silly? Also there's a possibility I might be showing another pony, who is chestnut with flaxen mane and tail. Do you think the above colours on a tweed would also look ok on a chesnut? Or if not, what colour would suit both? Finally, inhand showing - with four white socks, what colour trousers would you wear?! Thanks in advance!

Thanks very much for the reply I will search for a nice purple tie, and perhaps an orange one for the chestnut...
