As regards to the above post.....On the other hand you look very light and you have your stirrups so that your heel is in line with your behind which many shorter riders still fail to do- Good luck- he is proper "A"

Thanks for your post and we appreciate she is looking a little big but I wouldnt quite say miles. He is a proper section A who is like a tank and carries her easily, there are many bigger riders out there. I have had a wide seat saddle fitted for him to give her plenty of room and allow her to drop her stirrups rather than perch on the back of a tiny tea tray saddle.

Thank you Lulah and ponymum, we are so excited..... she is starting to get a little paranoid but loves him too much to want to move on just yet - she is still only just 13 and is one of only a few juniors to ride in her open section, most being adults. No one else apart from her younger sister rides him its all her own work. I have told her that she is fine and the angle of the camera has made it look what it actually isnt on some pictures

Nonsense you are too big on him. Im 5'2 and considering doing open classes on a sec a. Whats worse a pony more than capable of carrying its lightweight riders weight or a 13.2hh show pony with a heavy rider on?
