I have just been flicking through the HOYS website and noticed that if you click on the description of the Show Pony classes in the timetable it says that they will be marked 60 for way of going and 40 for conformation. Does anyone know if this is correct? I know that HOYS kind of got their own rules for this year but this hasn't really been publisized. The M&M's say 50 for way of going & 50 for conformation.
Has anyone else seen this?

Yes. Show ponies and m&ms have always been marked differently. Not sure of the reasons why though  xx |

It is on the show timetable page. When you click on the class it came up with that info. Last year the show ponies were also judged 50 / 50 split as are all of the qualifiers. When you go onto the shp's it doesn't say how the marks will be allocated.

Must have changed SP's in last couple of years as were always judged 60/40 when we competed in these classes.

in the brochure i bought it says the marking is 50/50

It did say in schedule 60/40 but think this was a mistake as all qualifiers been judged now 50/50. Which I think is wrong as manners in a children's riding pony should of be of a priority. I am sure HOYS was judged 50/50.

Yes SP and SHP were judged 50/50 as they were at the qualifiers

They were judged 50 /50 at HOYS in 2012 but again in the class description for 2013 it says they will be judged 60 /40. Perhaps they need to decide which one it is before the start of next season?
