We did a walk away, trot past judge, onto figure 8, tried to be on right diagonal/change but my son was an older LR. Did a little sitting trot across middle of figure eight and then tried to finish near the judge in a controlled manner, square halt, salute, breathe!!

A well rehearsed serpentine looks fab. coming back to walk - halt on change of rein then back in to trot shows obedience off and generally keeping everything smooth and flowing especially in downward transitions at the end and big smiles!

A nice serpentine with a trot-walk-halt-walk-trot on one change of rein worked for us, but make sure you finish with a nice walk before you halt and salute at the end, too many people rush into the halt from trot.
