Does anyone know if they exist? I'm interested in putting my 12hh hunter pony in foal next year and I really want a coloured 12hh/13hh baby! Obviously I know of honeypot sporran!! Does he still cover mares? So just wondering if anyone knows of any others? Preferably shp's not traditionals but open to both. Really needs to be 13hh and under South west area also Thanks

I used Springhills Bally sensation on my 12.3hh part bred Dartmoor mare, got a lovely foal, I would certainly use him again, so long as he is with his owner. I wouldn't go back to Country farm stud tho Sorry, just read you wanted under 13hh, he is 14.2hh.

I dont think Honeypot sporran is availible for covering anymore, i contacted the owner at the beginnig of this year for my mare and she said he was getting on a bit and would not be covering visiting mares anymore, so i used Acado who is 14hh at lostock stud owned by caroline Hamilton. There arent may homozygous pony stallions about but you could try looking at stallions on line, thats what i did, good luck.

Must it be homozygous- there are a fair few Heterozygous Stallions about who are more typey, stock getters and beautiful pedigrees. Another possibility if not is a good traditional. Commanche Ace is a smalll Traditional cob, whom to finer mares has produced winning coloured Hunter & sports Ponies. He is available AI

Yes must be homozygous as I definitely want a coloured. If I didn't have a coloured I would be looking more along the riding pony breeding lines and wouldn't bother with a non homozygous coloured, if you get me haha! Brill will look now! Thanks
