Hi does anyone know if you can wear your beagler in the ridden classes for the serach for a star? Also do your groom come into the ring when you stirp your horse and what do there wear? Thanks

I'd check the rules on The SEIB site re beagler - you used to be able to, but i'm not sure about now. Yes re. groom - just make sure they are smart as you would for a county show and they definitely need to wear a hat. Best of luck and enjoy it.

What class are u doing? Grooms don't go in the ring to strip, or they didn't last year. We did the pony class, and they trotted them up with saddle on.

When I competed in 2009 (cobs) , I wore my beagler (fell under HOYS rules, not SEIB rules) and grooms didn't enter the arena - no strip, just a trot up in-hand.
Their rules change regularly though, so double check.

I thought all qualified on sfas had to go on a "preparation" session where all was explained a few weeks ago??

I did SFAS in 2010. Beaglers were allowed and they didn't strip. Trot up with saddle on. Good luck x
